They Need Our Help
U-Can-Do all things through Christ who strengthens you
U-Candoor Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization that aims to provide international services for special needs children who live in countries where Education, Shelter, Supplies, and even Family supports are scarce, especially when there are extensive disabilities present. The mission of the organization is to assist international children with disabilities by providing support, hope, and love with a U-Can-Do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippian 4:13) mentality, while providing a Door of opportunities. Our Name, U-Candoor Inc. exemplifies that goal!
Despite the pride we often take in our achievements—titles earned, wealth accumulated, and social status claimed—there lies a humbling truth at the core of our existence: none of us chose how we entered this world. We did not select our name, our birthplace, our physical abilities, or the circumstances of our arrival. These foundational aspects of identity were bestowed upon us by others—parents, caregivers, communities—and shaped by forces beyond our control. Even the support systems that helped us grow—family, friends, mentors—were gifts, not guarantees. This reality invites humility. For while we may build impressive lives, the very beginning of that journey was entirely dependent on others. And if we were blessed with help along the way, it is not only grace but also a quiet call to extend that same compassion to those whose paths may be different or harder, and whose needs might not mirror our own beginnings.
They Need Hope for the Future
U-Can-Find Identity in Christ, Alone
People’s pasts are always part of their present, but not always part of their future. Hence, we should always be thankful and humble for where, what, how, when and who we are without boasting, because most of it was not our doing, but was God’s plan; also known as destiny.
No one personally choses their country of origin; disabilities they were born with; the family lineage they were born into; their intellectual DNA; their first spoken language, etc. However, all those compositions made them who they are, and they must embrace it and make the best of who they are because that’s how God created them in his own image, for his own purpose even if the world doesn’t understand nor accept it. A disability is not a choice, it is struggle that, in many situations, can be mitigated or overcome with help, you and U-CANDOOR can be that help and make a difference in the lives of children.
They Need to be More Than a Statistic
U-Can-Make a Difference
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) the prevalence of autism among U.S. children has risen significantly in recent years. While 6.7 in 1,000 children were diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in 2000, that number has risen to 27.6 in 1,000 children by 2020. This means that currently 1 in 36 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with ASD, up from 1 in 150 children 20 years ago. The reasons for this increase in prevalence are not fully understood and are likely complex. Thus, this is a growing issue that society must embrace, and U-Candoor Inc. aims to lead that effort internationally where the only services available to many is “Hope.”
Members of U-Candoor Inc. are parents of children with various types of special needs who have witnessed and documented the experiences of children in less fortunate countries. They can attest to the struggles of children in those countries, many who are abandoned in the street to fend for themselves regardless of or ignored by family and society due to their disabilities. U-Candoor recognizes those challenges and believes that all God’s children deserve a chance to succeed and an opportunity to hope for a better future.

U-Can-Love Your Neighbor
It’s been proven the only known unique aspects that humans have are their DNA and fingerprints. However, there are many unique aspects of a human body that are seemingly rare or unusual only because it is a visible that may be unfamiliar to the general population.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers (Galatians 6:10) and those who count on others to support them because of their disabilities. Together with U—Candoor, and our partner organizations, your tax-free donations can help make a huge difference in the lives of these children. Help us to let them know that they are not abandoned but embraced by the love of God and his people.
